AutoCap Group in major acquisition: Svenska Däckgruppen joins the group following a successful reorganisation
AutoCap Group completes its largest acquisition to date, welcoming Svenska Däckgruppen i Stockholm AB to the group. The deal adds seven strategically located workshops in the Mälardalen region to the group. For Däckgruppen, the acquisition marks the end of a challenging period and the beginning of an ambitious fresh start, made possible through a successful reorganisation and close collaboration between owners, creditors and AutoCap Group.
Svenska Däckgruppen is a well-known player with a strong foothold in Stockholm and Mälardalen. With seven sites and a complete offering across tyres, rims and tyre storage, the company has long been a first choice for private individuals and corporate customers alike in the region.
For most of 2025, the company underwent a financial reorganisation to address liquidity challenges in a tough market. That process has now been successfully completed, with AutoCap Group stepping in as an active party to secure the future of the business. Through a constructive dialogue between Däckgruppen, AutoCap and the company's creditors, a stable foundation for continued operations has been established.

Through the acquisition, AutoCap Group significantly strengthens its presence along the important transport routes in the Mälardalen region. The group thereby continues its strategy of building a market-leading network of entrepreneur-driven tyre workshops, where local roots are combined with economies of scale.
All seven workshops continue their operations without interruption, and the workforce transfers as part of the transition.
