How It Works
Selling a business you've spent years building is a big decision. Our process is structured so you know where you stand at every step - from the first conversation to closing day, typically within 8–12 weeks.
First Conversation
A relaxed, confidential discussion about your business, your goals, and what you're looking for. No pressure, no obligation - just a conversation about what might be possible. 1–2 weeks.
Indicative Offer
If there's mutual interest, we'll provide a preliminary valuation and offer based on the information shared. This gives you a clear sense of value before moving forward. 1–2 weeks.
Letter of Intent
A written summary of what we've agreed so far - price range, structure, and the framework for what happens next. Non-binding, but a clear signal that we both want to move forward. 1 week.
Due Diligence
A structured review of the business - financials, operations, legal, customers. We handle most of the heavy lifting; your job is to answer questions and share the documents we ask for. 3–5 weeks.
Final Agreement
The final share purchase agreement covering price, terms, and warranties. By this stage there are no surprises - everything has been discussed openly along the way. 1–2 weeks.
Welcome to the Group
Closing day, and the start of the next chapter. From day one, you have access to AutoCap's central support - and you keep doing what you've always done, just with more behind you. Ongoing.
